Duties and Responsibilities

The Interior Trim Carpenter will perform trim and finish carpentry work in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing fixtures and millwork such as doors, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, decking, and furniture. The role requires safely erecting and working from scaffolding, ladders, or lifts as needed, collaborating closely with carpenters, journeymen, supervisors, and project managers to ensure timely project completion, and identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing issues related to building components and carpentry installations.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and have a minimum of ten years of experience in trim and finish carpentry. Strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality craftsmanship, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications are essential. Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools is required, along with strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
